Global Research Cooperation and Networking of Taiwan, R.O.C.

In attempt to maximize the efficacy of limited resources, Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) utilizes financial instruments wisely to create mutual benefits for international partners. This presentation intends to introduce how MOST enhance innovation eco-system through international cooperation. The speaker will start with a brief introduction of aims and strategies of MOST, followed by policy instruments, including bilateral/multi-lateral cooperation programs, international cooperation of general research projects, the MAGIC (MOST Add-on Grant for International Cooperation) Grant, and funding schemes for the exchange of personnel. All programs will be presented with relevant cases, including performance and achievement in academic publication, patents, and the exchange of S&T personnel. In conclusion, potential topics and domains will be addressed for future international collaboration with Taiwan.
