Dr. Yu-Han Tsou has served as Vice Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) since September 2017. She is also the Vice Chairperson of Disaster Prevention and Protection Expert Consultation Committee of the Executive Yuan, Member of South China Sea Science Research Cooperative Working Group, Committee Member of Central Disaster Prevention and Response Committee.

Dr. Tsou has served in many roles since joining MOST (originally named NSC) including Director General of Department of Planning, Director General of Department of Central Processing, Director of Science and Technology Division of the Taipei Representative Office in France and UK, Deputy Director General of Department of International Cooperation.

Dr. Tsou joined government budget and statistical work from 1988, including Senior Executive Officer of Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics of the Executive Yuan, Director of Statistics Office, Bureau of Monetary Affairs of the MOF, She also served as Committee Member of Atomic Science and Technology R&D Review Committee, Atomic Energy Council of the Executive Yuan, Supervisor of Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB), MOEA.

Dr. Tsou holds a B.S. and a Ph.D. from the Fu-Jen Catholic University, and an M.S. from the National Central University in Taiwan.
